Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 24, 2026

Beckwith and Kuffel, Inc. ("B&K," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website (b-k.com), how we use it, how we share it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. When you submit a form on our site — such as a training registration, service inquiry, contact request, customer satisfaction (NPS) survey, or email unsubscribe request — we collect the information you enter, which may include:

  • Name, email address, phone number
  • Employer, job title, mailing address
  • Purchase order numbers and related identifiers
  • Equipment details, service requests, and comments you provide
  • Survey responses and ratings

We do not collect or store credit card numbers through this website.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Browser type, operating system, and device information
  • Pages viewed, referring URL, and date and time of visits
  • Cookies and similar identifiers

2. Tracking Technologies We Use

We are transparent about the tracking technologies in use on our website:

Google Analytics (gtag.js, property G-WWSS908JFG). We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects anonymized usage data, including pages visited, session duration, referral source, and approximate geographic location based on IP address. Information collected by Google Analytics is processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise. We use Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise on our forms to distinguish humans from automated bots and reduce spam. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and sends this data to Google for analysis. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Cookies. Our site uses cookies for session management, analytics (via Google Analytics), and spam prevention (via reCAPTCHA). Most browsers let you refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable cookies, some features of the site may not function correctly.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your inquiries, register you for training, process service requests, and fulfill the purpose for which you provided the information
  • To send transactional emails such as registration confirmations and unsubscribe acknowledgements
  • To understand visitor behavior and improve our website (via Google Analytics)
  • To prevent abuse and protect our systems (via reCAPTCHA and server logs)
  • To comply with our legal obligations

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Brevo — our transactional email service provider, which processes registration confirmations, inquiry notifications, and related correspondence on our behalf. See Brevo's Privacy Policy.
  • Google — in connection with Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA Enterprise as described above.
  • Authorized B&K personnel responsible for handling your request (e.g., training, service, parts, or sales staff).
  • Law enforcement or regulators, when required by subpoena, court order, or other legal process.

5. Data Retention

We retain form submissions, survey responses, and email correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary for the business purpose for which they were collected, for our internal record-keeping, and to comply with applicable legal obligations. Server log data is typically retained for a shorter period consistent with normal hosting practice.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate information
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
  • Opt out of analytics tracking — using the Google Analytics opt-out tool linked above, or by configuring your browser's Do Not Track setting
  • Unsubscribe from our emails — using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at sales@b-k.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, additional rights under the GDPR or CCPA may apply.

7. Children's Privacy

This website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-Party Links

Our site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before submitting any personal information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
